Balance and Fall Prevention

Janice M. Woerner is an Occupational Therapist and Group Fitness Instructor specializing in balance training and safety education for Seniors. She has been working in sub-acute rehab for 12 years.

She is a certified Fall Prevention Specialist (PESI Education)

Janice has a B.A. from Seton Hall University, a B.S in Health Science and M. S in Occupational Therapy from Mercy College.

She is known for her energy, passion and unique style of teaching.

Continue to safely perform your Activities of Daily Living without the need for additional assistance

A momentary loss of balance could significantly change a person’s current functional mobility or be, even, fatal.

Focus on increasing flexibility of the trunk improves overall breathing and ability to reach in all planes of movement
